I have returned and can see its gone really quiet here we need to advertise the forum people get the word around that we are a good organised forum etc

Surely someone can get this forum running back the way it used to be , 60 members and only around 10 of them post .....

I could think of a few idea's but it just doesnt happen doing something on your own ....

Maybe a few other's out there will post some intresting topics/News or Gen ....

I have a suggestion.

What if next year for 1 month you make a quota of posts and in that month if its a lot below minimum give some time to think about what to do.

If it hits minimum and goes over keep chugging on.

That could work, but its like setting a target to to see how many posts we can get. You would probably find that we would manage to reach the minimum but it would be from the same 10 or so members. Attracting new members to the forum is the problem we will have here.

And as we operate within a Niche Market, with not that many posts being made relevant to that market, I can't see it taking off for a while to come unless we become more generalised or actually post stuff relevant to South Western Railways!!
